It could be any number of things.

-A special concert like when they were with the Contemporary Youth Orchestra
-It could be a team-up concert with someone they've not played with [ever, or in a real long time]
-A concert of nothing but the material they've been neglecting
-The return of Glen for one gig
-A benefit for some charity
It could be anything.

As cool as it would be, I don't see DDY and Styx performing together just yet [though I personally believe the possibility is there for some time in the future.]

Although it IS just one concert. Could JY put differences aside for one night? After a decade of bashing, it would be hard to believe. :wink:

It is odd how it says "concert announcement" rather than "tour announcement". Or maybe I'm just thinking about some stupid graphic that was probably thrown together in 3 minutes for too long.

Actually, being on the radio, I had the pleasure of interviewing Bruce from REO about a month or so ago. He confirmed that Styx/REO/.38 Special will indeed be happening. I think he said it will prob begin like late May or June.

At this point it's just a matter of dates and locations.

Does this mean the Styx/Reo/Night Ranger tour is off the table ? Maybe 38 Special could do one leg and Night Ranger the other ?

Maybe...but Night Ranger has already booked a lot of dates out on their own through the summer months.
