Just wait until the Live Nation / Ticketmaster merger.

Ya, service chargers make it almost worth it to wait in line to get the tickets.....almost.

hard to wait in line with Internet Presale is the only method tickets are available.

And Live Nation and Ticketmaster are seperating, not joining. Live Nation is creating their own ticket agency in their top grossing venues.

Live Nation already created their own ticket agency awhile back after their licensing deal with Ticketmaster ended. They are now talking merger but the government might step in and prevent it due to anti-trust laws.

It is nearly impossible to get tickets for "face value" anywhere anymore. I have boycotted Ticketmaster and gotten tickets at the door as much as possible recently. But even when I do that, I still get hit with a "facility fee" or extra charges for using a credit card.

I can deal with high ticket costs. But please don't try to fool the paying public into believing they can get something for an advertised price when they can't.

Ticketmaster also owns the aftermarket ticket sales outlet "TicketsNow"

When Springsteen tickets went on-sale recently, Ticketmaster diverted a number of people to TicketsNow even though tickets were still available for the show.

Something needs to be done about this.

Contact your congressman.
