Hey, did anyone record this or is it out there? I'd be interested to hear what he has to say. His interviews are usually pretty good.

Hard to do that since it doesn't take place until the 18th of this month. LOL

Agreed. I saw his interview on writing music, and I was amazed by how well he was answering the questions. I've read a few of his interviews, and they are pretty good as well. Can't wait for this and ChicagoStyx's interview.

I hope to finish my interview with DDY this weekend. I am supposed to speak with him after he and his part time band perform for the grand opening of the all natural fertilizer isle at the Farm and Fleet store in Montgomery, IL . It’s a real big deal there. The word is they may have to shut down the dog food isle because DDY is insisting on a clear path to the checkout counter after the show to buy his Rogaine. (it’s on sale this week) Stay tuned for the full interview in a week or so………… :D

Okay, no matter where your 'allegiance" lies with the two camps, this is pretty darned funny.

I would've bought American, but apparently, there was no distributor for the parts at the time. Parts of the label were in French too, so I may have not gotten the gist of the installation.

So far, it's a typical DDY interview. Then again, he and Bob go way back. They're up to playing the title cut. It's somewhat odd hearing DDY doing all the lyrics. I saw it live, but I'm actually used to the half English/half French. I'd have to compare it when I get the final version but it sounds like he redid all of the vocals (which would make sense). Sounded good, but I liked it before, too.

Commercial one ...

Shame they're not playing the whole of Rubicon, as that would really be a good demo for the older Styx fans.

Doesn't his contract with Finesse prohibit him and Suzanne from buying any more "foreign" hair products? I assumed that was why we always see the same ones.

My first reaction to Private Jones - I like it; hadn't even heard it live. It's another tune I could see a more modern Styx doing with a bit of a slight change possibly in arrangement. Looking forward to getting the album to hear the rest of the differences.

No real deep questions in this episode of Rockline, and thankfully, nothing really from my interview (which is almost done being transcribed).

I just listened to rockline on line.
I liked Private Jones a lot. It really sounded like classic Styx. Great song. Glad he added it to the CD.

It'll be interesting once the album is out to hear how it flows with the songs that were remixed and/or added/taken away. I'm so used to the Canadian version at this point.

I liked "Private Jones" much better than I thought I would.

I agree, too, about getting used to the new order and/or changes on the track list. I still play the Canada version fairly often, so this will take some getting used to, but I don't mind. :D
