Yep
My friend worked at the Marriott Ohare in the health club
Bob ordered up a massage table
I helped bring it to his room
He opened the door with a putter in his hand and said wheel it in.
Very cool..

Never met anyone, but i was in close proximity

I was working at the Marriot at Philidelphia Airport, delivering the morning papers to each and every room. The staff aren't supposed to give me a list that includes the names of the attendents, just what rooms are getting a paper so I can skip the empty ones. Well one night, this new girl hands me the list but this time it has names on it. I didn't look at the names while I was delivering, it was 4 in the morning and I wanted to get out of there, but afterwards, I looked over the list before handing it back to her. On the list was M. Jackson, and A. Schwarzenegger. I was surprised, even though the person I was replacing said that they had met Bill Clinton there one night. I know, not that great of a story but one thing I can say; I never saw her working there again after that night.

Hmmm . . . does interviewing someone on the phone but not seeing them face to face count? I've interviewed Tommy Shaw (met him in person at length several times too), Todd Sucherman, Glen Burtnik (met him too, along with several people from the list), did a radio show with Gowan and JY, spoke with DDY briefly years ago. Robert Romanus, LOL, on the phone. Steve Howe, Trevor Rabin, Brian May, Jon Bon Jackass, Jon Anderson, Rick Wakeman, Robert Fripp, Adrian Belew, Tony Levin, Michael Cartellone, Ted Nugent, Jack Blades, Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Bruce Kulick, Ace Frehley, Rik Emmett, Martin Barre, Ian Anderson, Peter Frampton, Kerry Livgren, Steve Walsh, Rich Williams, Phil Ehart, David Ragsdale, Eddie Van Halen, David Lee Roth, Ty Tabor, Dana Plato (seriously!), Richard Dreyfuss, Holly Hunter, Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman, Alan Jackson, Wynonna Judd . . . and a cast of thousands, I guess, LOL. Many in person, some on the phone. But no Bob Hope, LOL. That's way cool. My uncle worked on one of his TV specials and loved him.

LOL, uh, no. I did what everyone does in that scenario. I did a lot of reserach and used past interviews for the people I could not interview myself. It's not like there's a shortage of JY interviews in the world.

I hope all is well.

He said he did a radio show with JY and Gowan, he didn't say he interviewed JY for anything. Sterling has always said that JY and Dennis were the only 2 members of Styx that refused interviews for the Book.

Shook hands with Robert Plant in 73.
Later same year, brief chat and handshake with David Coverdale after his very first concert with Deep Purple.
He was so wired after the show ,weather he did well or not.

More exciting,,,
Got photograps on my wall, with my mom and Elvis, also a shot of my dad with Marilyn Monroe.
My dad took some photograps of Chet Baker in a small club after he had finished a concert.(in Copenhagen)
He was totally whacked on smack and could barely hold on to his trumpet or whatever instrument he plays.
Does that count?

Dennis DeYoung
Brad Delp (RIP)
Chuck Norris
John Goodman
Archie Manning
Ronald Regan (well actually I touched him and then was shoved rather hard by the secret service lol)
Hank Hill, Dale Gribble and Boomhower (just kidding)

Of all of them, Dennis was the longest exchange of conversation, very nice man and his wife as well. Suzanne and I talked more than Dennis and I. I would have loved to have met a Beatle. Still a chance. I bet Pete Best is availble if anyone wants to give him a call.

I met Jani Lane, the lead singer of Warrant at a Waffle House back in '97. My friend is a huge Warrant fan, and he swore up and down that he saw Jani sitting at one of the other booths. We went over, and my friend asked if it was him. There wasn't a whole lot of interaction, but he was cool enough to give my friend an autographed napkin, lol.

I was staying at the same hotel as him a couple of years ago and I saw him in the hall over the course of about a week and we would talk a bit when we would pass and I never made it obvious I knew who it was or anything like that and after a couple of days of conversations he said he wanted to get away from the hotel to out in the country and did I know anywhere, so the two of us went and rented some bikes and I drove him out into the country and rode the bikes for the whole day.
It was pretty surreal now when I think about it.

I came THIS / / close to meeting Sir Paul when he was in town, very long story, but should be a happy one on his next tour.
