The Swedish Are Crossing the Rubicon?

Postby KWH17 » Sat Apr 18, 2009 9:05 am

Just saw this in an e-mail Modern Drummer sent me today:

Swedish pop/rock quintet the Sounds have a new CD, Crossing The Rubicon. Fredrik Nilsson is on drums. You can catch the band on tour with Fall Out Boy and No Doubt. Visit www.myspace.com/thesounds.

Kind of coincidental, seeing as a couple months after DDY leaves Europe, a European group comes out with a CD that shares the name of one of the songs on his new album. I'm not suggesting that this was done on purpose, it's just as I said, coincidental.

Speculation?[/i]

I REALLY like the song 100 Years From Now, now that Ive heard it without the Cuban lyrics. Its a GREAT song.

Crossing The Rubican is one of the best songs Dennis or Styx has ever done. This Time Next Year is excellent.

Shit, the entire CD is GREAT.

Dennis should be REAL REAL proud of his effort.

This CD is the reason that I always thought that Styx was the GREATEST band ever.

Whether it sells 1,000 copies or 1,000,000 its AWESOME!!!
