Part One of Lawrence Gowan/Todd Sucherman interview

Postby Rockwriter » Wed Jun 24, 2009 8:24 am

Hi everyone:

Wanted to let you know that Part One of my brand-new podcast interview with Todd Sucherman and Lawrence Gowan of Styx is now playing at http://www.wewillrockyoublog.com/2009/0 ... encetodd1/

In this segment we talk about the band's tour of the White House yesterday, Styx' lack of an overt public political stance, the summer tour with REO, "Can't Stop Rockin'" and why musicians suck at Rock Band.

Thanks to all who sent questions. I asked a few of them but a lot of them were posted after I did the actual interview earlier today.

More to come soon!

Thanks, I hope all is well.

Ah Crap, I was just submitting questions in the other thread duH!
Well, did you ask him if he wanted to beat the Hell outta Froy?
;)
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

No, LOL, I didn't get to that one. By the way, I don't know if you ever listened or not, but Geoff Tate answered your question about David Kyle at great length in the interview I did with him.

Hope all is well.

I presented the Geoff Tate interview as one long segment, and I got some feedback from people saying it was very long and it would be easier to digest if it were in shorter segments. So from now on, starting with Styx I will be posting the interviews in multiple shorter segments. That also works better because I am posting them to YouTube and I have to break them up anyway to do that. A lot of people are listening to stuff like this on the sly at work, too, and they need short segments. Part Two of Styx will be posted Friday, Part Three on Monday, and so on, a new segment about every three days.

Thanks, hope all is well.
