Part Two of Lawrence Gowan/Todd Sucherman Interview

Postby Rockwriter » Fri Jun 26, 2009 3:20 pm

Wanted to let everyone know that Part Two of my in-depth interview with Todd Sucherman and Lawrence Gowan of Styx is now playing at http://www.wewillrockyoublog.com/2009/0 ... -part-two/

In this segment we discuss Styx re-recording three songs for Rock Band; JY's wife's illness and recovery; Styx playing shows without JY when his wife fell ill; Styx possible return to Europe; and perception of "classic" lineup vs. "new" lineup in Styx.

Thanks, I hope all is well.

It's too bad JY can't take some lessons in tact from Larry. He and Todd both totally went the high road. Nice to hear. :D

I really did get the impression they weren't just saying that, either. You know, it's been a decade, LOL. Life moves on. I think most involved kinda feel that way at this point.

The other side of the coin is, at least JY says how he feels. Makes a more interesting interview if you ask me rather than just kind of sugar coating everything....
I don't know, I find it refreshing even though he isn't as nicey nice as he could be.

I think both of these guys come off great.
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.
