Loverboy - $15K???? Doesn't even pay for Mike Reno's dinner tab...

Its the original bassist, and drummer and the rest are fill ins doing immitations of Randy bachman and Burton Cummings (who now tour together). I guess thats what happens when no one properly registers the name until years later.
The styx equivalent would be the Panozzo brothers hiring 2 guitarists and a keyboardists to sing the Styx catalogue while DDY, TS and JY tour under a different name.

Jodes wrote:Well I wouldn't go as far as to insult the way they look.. that's pretty petty, especially for most of the past 20 years Randy Bachman really wasn't the epitomy of slim and trim either..
I wonder if they have a "no play" clause in Canada as the Guess Who..

You'd have to be a complete buffoon to go see "The Guess Who" now. I just saw Randy and Burton a few weeks ago in Windsor - AWESOME. Burton quit smoking and he sounds better than he has in years.
Jim Kale can't keep his nose out of the bottle and Gary Peterson looks like a retired cop who kept up w/ his donut habit. Pitiful. I'm not one to pre-judge bands w/ replacements... I like Journey, Styx, the current LRB and what not, but they at least still have a core member or two (LRB is debatable if you're a hardcore I guess). The Guess Who was Randy and Burton, period.
Jodes wrote:So Fool, do you honestly think that Carl could manage 50-60 dates a year with the band after his car accident?
Or do you have more "insider" information that we don't know about?

Please share..

Burton sounds like shit..has NO voice left. He's like a really bad Burton impersonator.

Hey fuckhead, I just saw Burton two weeks ago in Windsor. He quit smoking and sounds way better than he has in the past. Even if he didn't, he's still better than anyone else singing his songs. You truly are a fool you fuckin idiot. You're defending a goddamn bastard tribute band
