Dennis has a few players who rotate in and out, depending on what other work they may have. Tom Sharpe has played a number of dates with Dennis, and has even conducted the orchestra on some of those dates, when Kyle began working on a different project.

Jimmy Leahey plays with other musicians and is with John Waite on tour now, I believe.

All of Dennis' musicians, including Tommy Dziallo and Hank Horton, perform in other groups or on other projects when they are not working with Dennis.

I was at that concert in Oshkosh (still posting pictures on Facebook). Dennis is a HUGE draw up there. 2 years ago no one left during the show in the pouring rain!

Anyhoo, Kyle has been on tour with Jersey Boys and is also working on his own projects. Tom Sharpe has been with Dennis for 2 years now. You can check out both of their websites, MySpaces & Facebook for their updates.

Jeff was at the NYC acoustic show, which was GREAT by the way. The Oshkosh show was his first with the full band. From what I understand Jimmy had a previous engagement and Jeff filled in for him. Jimmy will be on tour again with John Waite and he also has a variety of projects going on too. Check out his MySpace for more information :)

I had to giggle when a couple people (okay, a lot more than a couple) thought Jeff Watson was Tommy Shaw, they were in the back - LOL

Dennis will be back here, in my area next Friday :)

I know I'm prolly the only one to feel this way, or at least to own up to it, but I wouldn't mind seeing a song or two from Hunchback.. and what's with just one song off the new album? It seems like he's almost going the Styx route as far as the phoning it in set. I just always felt like you got a richer experience from a DDY show; he even through in one from "10 On Broadway" when I saw him in '02.

I agree. :? Especially about songs from his new album, which sound really great in concert. For some reason or other no effort was made to push this album or its songs here in the US, so he performs the only "hit" from it, the title track.

I was pleased to see Castle Walls in the set as that is wonderful live.

He may still do one or two songs from Hunchback at the orchestra shows, but I think those are even scaled back.

He is basically performing the nostalgia act. Not unlike what his former band is doing.

Why is he dropping Show Me The Way from his set list? Light Up, a B Side, is in there and Show Me The Way, a top 3 single and Gulf War anthem, isn't? Not sure what he is thinking on that one...

God no, that rainy concert we went to two years ago in Oshkosh (does it ALWAYS rain in Wisconsin??) couldn't have been Jimmy's first Dennis concert. The Roadies just didn't know where he was or didn't want to tell us, LOL!

Do you know when Jimmy's first Dennis concert was?

This summer has been so dry & hot compared to most Wisconsin summers :)

I know when Glen's first Dennis concerts were, I was there :)

Enjoyed the video. Prelude 12/SMB were always among my favorites. Watson is a good showman as well. I enjoyed DDY solo, but would like to see the new line up. It seems they put the orchestra so far back in the mix you can hardly tell they are there.

Was DDY slammin' Steve Walsh of Kansas' singing during his attempt at humor with Dust in the Wind? Couldn't tell. Kind of like his own self-depreciating Jerry Lewis "Lady" schtick I guess.

It was probably the lighting, but DDY looked kind of like a sixty somethin' year old grand...oh...never mind. :)

Sorry. As usual, my humor...or attempts at it are lost on most people. :?
