Anyone shelling out the bucks for the new Beatles stuff? If anyone has the Wii, tell me what you think of it. As far as the remastered set, I have all the CDs, seems a bit pricey....for the moment.

I am thinking about getting remastered Revolver and Rubber Soul. Maybe Help. Not sure. Not the entire set, though.

i got Let It Be, Rubber Soul, Revolver, Abbey Road, and Sgt Pepper's.

Haven't had a chance to listen to them all yet, but what I have listened to sounds very good.

Paid $13 a cd. Personally, I don't have a problem with it.

I've got the Beatles Rockband, Me and my Son love it. It's quick though, you can get through the whole thing in a few hours.
You can use the Guitar Hero World Tour guitar and mic if you already have it.

we have the rockband for wii. my daughter LOVES it. she is 9, and her favorite songs are Lucy in the Sky, Octopus' Garden, and Here Comes The Sun. I like it- fun to play, there is a "no fail" mode which is good for the kids, and the vids are well done. Nice montage of their career at the beginning. Decent song choice- some surprises, hopefully they will make other songs available to dl. I nailed Walrus (got 100%!) :D woohooo! (oops i mean goo goo ga joob) Haven't gotten any of the remasters yet. Looking at getting the Stereo Box Set once i start bringing in a paycheck again. (i know the MONOs are the "definitive" versions, but i'd still rather listen in stereo)

Picked up The White Album, Revolver, and Magical Mystery Tour. Pleased with the quality, price was a bit higher than one would hope, considering my situation.

Got Help! and Revolver. I'd like to get the Mono box too, but it's a hefty price tag.

The RockBand opening cinematic is worth the price of the game. DAMN that is cool....

My family has a Wii and we bought the game. My feelings, good - not great.

the graphics etc. are outstanding as is the gameplay. My gripe is they only included about 45 songs. Remember, a lot of The Beatles' songs were less than 3 minutes long, so essentially you can master all of the songs pretty quickly.

Now, when you compare this to Rock Band 2 that came with 80 songs - plus 20 free downloads, you can see where many feel there's not enough bang for the buck. $60 is a hefty price.

Still, it's well done and it is the Beatles. A great thing is that my kids (8 and 11) are now really getting into their music. No downloads available yet. If they make the downloads 50 cents a song I'd be happy, but I don't see myself buying a lot of downloads if they're $2 a pop.

Also, a lot of Beatles songs don't translate well to the game if they become available for download. Songs like "Yesterday" and "Eleanor Rigby" just wouldn't cut it for me. Not to mention that in those songs there are no bass/drums/ and/or guitar.

Thanks for the info gang. Maybe a family Xmas gift here. Yeah those songs are kinda short, I was looking forward to jamming with the family on Bungalow Bill or Why don't we do it in the road...actually my kids love the white album go figure. Revolution #9 would probably not translate over to Wii very well either....Number 9...Number 9...
