If I do my radio show next wed and the entire show is dedicated to Styx
How many of you would call into the show?
Its next wed at 11 am Chicago Time
It streams live on the internet
WJJG 1530am Chicago
I will see if I can get Dennis and Tommy to call in
What do you say..
How many of you would call in and talk about Styx.

Why would Tommy call in? All you would do is bash him about the current lineup.

That would be cool

It would be even better if you could get Gowan aswell as Tommy & DDY.But you don't like the new line up.

I think Glen would be the best.
He has been in Styx minus Tommy & Todd and in Styx minus Dennis & John.
Now he sometimes plays in DDY's band.
He has alot of insight on the band.

The current lineup is dead
Its time to talk about classic STYX
The show will be all Classic Styx and the songs I play will be all the rare ones
So far nobody is calling in so no show yet

Glen is in the U.K. until mid November touring with the remaining members of ELO, so he isn't available, but I agree that he would be a good "phoner."
Froy, if you do the show, shoot me an email and if I'm around, I will definitely call in. Good luck to you.

Maybe you could call in and discuss how you made such an ass of yourself at the DDY show?

Well Froy if you want Dennis to call in, why don't you contact his management and see if he's available? Tim's email is on the DDY site.
I'm not sure about Tommy, but what about Chuck? You could talk about his book, his charities, etc..
As for calling in, well I work during the week, and not able to call during that time..
Besides, did you even post a phone number?

Since I work in a hospital, I never know when I will be at my desk. Today I was at it most of the day, catching up on paperwork from a busy week. I usually fill rhapsody up with 8 to 10 hours worth of music a day, maybe hear an hour to two through out the day. I'll try to tune in, but do not know if I will hear it. And do put up the phone number, who knows I may have a spare minute at the time.

Hey Froy:
I would call into this if you can actually do it. Might be interesting. Don't hold your breath on getting Tommy to do a show that promotes a band he's no longer in, though. He's all about promoting what he's doing now. No offense, I'm just stating the truth. Dennis? Hmmm. . . might not be completely impossible if you gave his manager an angle that promoted what he's doing now as well, but who knows? You can only ask. Chuck could also be cool, you could grill him for stories that are not in his book.
Good luck.

Abita, I think Sterling meant the "Classic" lineup.. He's no longer in a working relationship with DDY, so why bring up the past?

You did not mention who you actually got on.I am curious.I assume Dennis, since in the past you made it clear that you and him are pretty tight.
Crossing the rubicon is not classic Styx, but Dennis.Somewhere in the night ,escapes me .Where is that from.
All the best with your show.

Why not the King Biscuit verson of Born For Adventure?
Best progressive HARD rockin DDY/ Styx song from their best album EVER!!!
ABSOLUTE CLASSIC song from a GREAT GREAT album.
This is the song and version that you should have played first.
Follow that up with Suite Madame Blue, Queen Of Spades, Crosing The Rubican, Castle Walls and then Come Sail Away.
That is DDY & Styx at their BEST!!!!!!
