To be held in the Los Angeles Area.

What stuff do you think is in the Styx Warehouse that they might be getting rid of?

Where'd you see this posted? Just curious.

Assuming it's true, stuff like old road cases and such I would believe. They aren't selling the Paradise lighted sign lol

And the most ignorant post of the day goes to..

KISSARMY!!!

But god forbid we make fun of Gene and Paul's plastic surgeries, botox treatments, hair weaves etc..

Oh wait, you'll deny those won't you?

Did I make you cry?

Get a sense of humor along with a clue.

Use to be a Styx fan. You couldn't pay me to see them now.

Dennis DeYoung will always be Styx. It's too bad that JY wasn't thrown out of the band. I don't have anything bad to
say about Tommy because he's a talented guy (unlike JY).

Har har har..

Well excuse me, but sometimes on this board one can't tell the difference between humor and someone being serious.

But I guess we do have one thing in common..

I used to be a die hard Kiss fan too, now I won't pay to see them in concert either. Why should I pay $150 a ticket (if not more) to see 1/2 a band I grew up loving? Gene's ever growing greed has turned a once great band into a circus act.

I saw them on the REAL reunion tour in 97, with all the bells and whistles and I'm good with that. They were still nowhere near as good as when I saw the Return to Paradise Lineup in 1996 at the Gorge.

That to this day has been my all time favourite concert moment.

But to each their own.

But again, who knows what the future may hold.. I'm still impressed with how good the new Kiss CD is.. but I wouldn't be surprised if Poison's and Whitesnake's lawyers haul Kiss into court over "Never Enough".. I'm sorry, but it's "Nothing But A Good Time" and "Slide It In"mashed together..

But then again, I'm sure Gene's thought of everything.

No different than Poison ripping off KISS.

The "Alive/35" tour (which I saw twice) was a million times better than the reunion tour and the farewell tour. The reason: no alcoholic drug addicts in the band.

I also saw the "Return To Paradise" tour. Although it was a good show, it pales in comparison to a KISS show.

You do have to admit that he is right about the Roboto masks....and anything else "Kilroy".

Well actually Poison ripped off "Kix" right down to the stage show..

Some could say that Kiss "ripped off" Alice Cooper/David Bowie and some of the other British Glam bands..

Rock N Roll is definately a circle..

Like look at the punk rock movement.. you don't have the Ramones

As for the Roboto masks.. those will more then likely fetch the most money, since they are pretty rare. If I had the cash, I'd get one!

What would be cool is if there were some John P or John C stuff filed away..

KISS has more to do with The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Led Zeppelin, The Yardbirds, Humble Pie, Slade, The Move, and Black Sabbath. The only thing in common with Alice Cooper and David Bowie is makeup, which neither were the first to wear. Their music isn't the same.

Poison are huge KISS fans. Their music and their stage shows are heavily influenced by KISS.

Let's see, if I'm a tour manager, who am I going to side with. The lead singer who doesn't like to tour or the rest of the guys who live on the road. I guess the pay is the same to Keith per show. But according to Froy, he should have sacrificed his lively hood because the Lead Singer changed.

Actually, it's about working to earn a living.

Oh...I'm SO SORRY! I forgot you live in Chicago! My bad. Forgive me for mentioning "working."

With comments like this, no wonder no one from the Styx organization/business past or present won't call you on your radio show! If you didn't figure it out by now, there are members of the band (past/present/future) on all sides that actually read this board once in a while.

Froy, I mean really, no matter how you feel about everything that happened in the world of Styx, I can't believe that you actually think a person would give up his job that he probably likes and is earning money (just like Zan said).

I know everyone has their opinion, but some of these comments that you are posting are just getting old. This board use to be a lot of fun and filled with a lot of posts, but people just getting tired of the same crap. Notice all the "regulars" that haven't been posting in a long time........ IMO

LOL...I wrote a post like this and figured there was no point. He's burned too many bridges and is WAY too radical and outspoken in his opinion. It's like one of those dudes carrying weapons to town meetings wondering why they are not invited to the White House for dinner. But, whatever...like I said, I deleted my post. It's really low on my "I give a damn" list.

I never asked any of them to call so it does not matter.
Keith was Dennis 's right hand man for many years and just like all the other followers he sold out for the money.
Keep pushing the broom Keith .

Good Im glad they see how a true STYX fan feels.
I have am unreleased interview with Tommy from 96 that I hope to find and use so I don't need him to call.

Froy, I mean really, no matter how you feel about everything that happened in the world of Styx,

What has happened is the band and all of it's members sold out for cash and left the guy who made them that money left in the basement. If you want to support people like that more power to ya. This is a world of greed and the STYX band are the masters at it.,

I know everyone has their opinion, but some of these comments that you are posting are just getting old.

Jeeze Louise, Froy. Dennis is probably happier, and as productive, as he has ever been in his life. He seems at peace with whatever the band has continued to do and he certainly seems extremely animated by his success post-Styx.

He always was and always will be the most creative member the band ever had, but he has most certainly moved on. A lot of his fans have moved on.

It is what it is now and nothing is going to change. And people naturally will move into the slots that will make them a living.

I could not be happier as a DDY fan for all that is going on with him as an artist. He is the ONLY one with a current new album and new music to tout and he puts on a terrific, in-demand solo show singing the songs the way many of us like to hear them.

The band does what it does quite well and can count both their success as a touring nostalgia act and the money they make doing it. They also make plenty of Classic Styx fans very happy, so there you go.

I repeat -- this situation is what it is now and it is not going to change.

Bugsy

And I won't even mention Glen Burtnik.

However, froyline's madness did overlook that Suite said PAST or present. No one will touch you, not even people from the side you support.
