Looking for Glen Burtnik fans in Texas...
I am in the process of looking into dates to book a double bill concert of Glen Burtnik and Randy Jackson (of ZEBRA). These two have performed together in the past (see YouTube videos from Atlanta) and should be an outstanding night of music here in Dallas.

If you could pull it off you should book a tommy/glen solo show together that would be pretty cool. Assuming he doesn't have a date with styx that day.

I have looked into a Tommy/Jack Blades show...but there have been a number of Styx and Night Ranger dates in the last year or two...tough to make schedules work out.

I Live in Carthage, TX. I am 2.5 hours from Dallas and 2 hours from Houston.
Welcome To Hollywood is AWESOME!!! One of my top 5 albums of all time. I have met Glen, and if the timing was right I would drive to Houston, Dallas, San Antonio or other spots in TX to see him.

hey don, good to "see" you here! as i said earlier, i know of a few other burtnik folks who would make the trek. if there is enough notice for people to make arrangements, i think you could have a nice turnout. who knows, some west coast folks might even consider it. and i'd love to see glen & randy do a few beatles tunes together like they did in atlanta.

There is a great little place in La Grange (about an hour east of Austin) called The Bugle Boy. Lots of acoustic style acts play there. It is pretty tiny, but I like it because it is referred to as a listening room. No talking allowed during the performances. You can drink there but you better STFU during the performances, which is the way I like it.

We will have to do a show later in the year on a Fri/Sat night.
Sunday, June 13 may just be Randy Jackson and Terry Brock. Possible special guest of Mark Mangold (Touch/Drive She Said/Mystic Healer/Flesh & Blood/The Sign)...but that depends on overall budget and ticket sales potential.

Zebra/Beatles/Led Zep/Pink Floyd...then with Terry they will probably do some songs by The Sign (esp. if Mark makes it), The Eagles, maybe some Bad Co, Rod Stewart, etc.

I've been listening to Welcome to Hollywood a lot lately. I'd have to agree with Yogi. It's cracked my top 5 albums of all time.
I'd go anywhere to see Glen. I'd love to get him to come to the west coast.

Why would he come to the West Coast if you would go anywhere to see him?
