OT: Music Project

Postby styxfansite » Sat Mar 20, 2010 2:50 am

I am working on a project for a department within the college I work work for. They are doing a slideshow at one of our staff meetings on "work" and they want me to throw together some songs to go along with that slideshow. The slideshow will be playing while people are coming in and at lunch so it will be looping. The music will not be in the slideshow but played from cd or other source so I will need multiple songs.

I need songs that have "work" or "working" in them.

So far I have a handful and instead of racking my brain over what to use, I thought I would ask.

Working in a coal mine - Devo
Working for the weekend - Loverboy
Keep on working - Pete Townshend
Working for the man - Roy Orbison
Hard Days night - The Beatles

Thanks

But, there are lots of songs on this list that show the negatives of working. e.g. Taking Care of Business, Working 9 to 5,
