Dennis - 2010 Set list

Wow, what a difference with Dennis' additions to his band!!! August sounds like a young Tommy and the harmonies now remind me of Classic Styx. Now this was a ROCK SHOW (to me) with most of Styx' top hits. It was great to hear the additional "Tommy" songs, again, especially with the harmonies which was/is missing before with all the new line-ups in the past 10 years.

Froy, just for you for the first time with a band they played "Show Me The Way", loved the band version especially with the guitars and harmonies :)

Oh and I LOVED the additional music to "Rockin' The Paradise"

During the show Dennis made a few changes with the set list. He took out "Suite Madame Blue" and added "Show Me the Way" and I think they switched "Light Up" too, can't remember if that one was played.

You never know, "Crystal Ball" might show up.

Set List:

Intro: The Message
Grand Illusion
Lady
Lorelei
Blue Collar Man
Desert Moon
Light Up ????
Mr. Roboto
Show Me The Way
Babe
Too Much Time on my Hands
Rockin the Paradise
Fooling Yourself
Best of Times

Yeah, the set is similar to, but some + and - from the show I saw in Rhode Island.

I'm a bit more curious to see the show in May now that things seem to be gelling a bit more.

Did they stick to the album versions of the TS songs, live ones, or a hybrid?

Sounds like he is building up a repertoire and can then slot in different songs here and there. Sounds good to me. I hate to see Castle Walls go, but maybe they can work that back in at some point.

I hate to see that song go too. One song that I would love to hear live now is "Superstars"!!

It was a mixture of all 3 with TS songs, that's what made it more amazing!! Hopefully a few songs will show up on YouTube.

Such a better set list than what current Styx is playing. If you want to hear the real Styx and their best songs - this is it.

Lose Desert Moon and bring back Castle Walls, Sweet Madam Blue and Pieces of 8 and I just might have to check out his show again.

I'm not a fan of Babe. But you gotta go to the bathroom sometime.

That's one thing about Tim Orchard and Dennis they listen to what the die hards want,
Great guy Tim Orchard he's a real down to earth guy,
I wish them a great summer bringing Styx music to the fans.

Dennis should drop Desert Moon and at least play one song from 100 Years From Now. Otherwise I really like his set, nice balance.

I would love to hear it, but I think it would turn into a bathroom break for many. I think he should stick to 100 Years or This Time Next Year.

He does do a song from that album occasionally. He did the title track at the show I saw in Feb.
