Styx "United in Rock" Live Review and Photos

Postby weatherman90 » Tue Jun 15, 2010 9:37 am

Hi all,

Haven't posted here in ages! I'm in Washington, DC this summer for an internship by day, and concerts by night. Hope you enjoy this review of Styx, Foreigner, and Kansas from the ongoing tour. It was an absolute blast, and I've spent all weekend sorting through photos. So, take a look and let me know what you think!

WOW, Killer Styx photos. Did you take those? If so, what's your camera rig?
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

Thanks! I currently use a Canon 5D Mark II, and during the Styx shoot I was primarily on the 24-70mm f/2.8 lens. It was one of the most exhausting shoots I've ever done, thanks to 80 degrees and high humidity. Chasing Tommy around on stage is no easy task!

Glad you like the photos!

Damn! Pricey camera. I've got a Nikon D80, thought that was expensive.
