An Album of NEW STYX MUSIC. OK, Who's in??

See my poll!

;)

My answer is YES. DEFINITELY.

I want to hear what they can do, not what they've already done. I LIKE this version of the band doing their own thing.
When it comes to remakes, no thanks. I have a ton of live albums and DVDs- not to mention the original albums. The band is great in concert, but I want to
hear new things from them now.

Yes,but I would like them to make a set of songs, that would lean towards the style of Equinox.

They need to do like Petty, Journey & Prince did: include the new album with the ticket sales.

That way raise all of the prices by $5-10 to cover the album ($60 becomes $70, $80 becomes $90). This way they make the money & release new music.

Of course this option might be a little more difficult for the package shows, but certainly possible for the solo shows. (And the, of course, then can still send a more limited amount to the retailers: Amazon, Best Buy, etc.

WHY does it have to sound like Equinox??
This is not that same band. It needs to sound like STYX2010.
No wonder the band's scared of new material....

it's not 1975 anymore.

Wouldn't buy anything with Gowan on it. Or near it. I have enough bad music in my collection. And that's with good singers, too.

The only reason I downloaded Cyclorama was for Burtnik's songs. Without Burtnik..... and with Gowan...... I would have to be really blown away by it in order to consider it, but I'm not sure my mind is even open to being blown away honestly.

Are you reading this Todd? You are losing Money with Gowan I know that strikes a nerve. You have a water bill to pay Keep milking Dennis's band to pay your bills,

They're not losing money with Gowan. They're a touring machine. With Dennis, that wouldn't be the case.
NOW he's touring. Before, (when his band was together) he wouldn't. As much as I like Dennis, if the band wanted to WORK, they made the right decision.

Look at the numbers 8 out of 11 would buy a new album of new music. That's a pretty good ratio, especially for this place.

Would I like Dennis back in the band? Of course. It won't happen so I'll take new tunes from these guys AND Dennis.
There's NO WAY after all this stuff that Dennis would go back to these guys. You won't see it.

So what 30 thousand a show split 10 ways is 3000 per man
With Dennis and a not burned out name and a great new cd 100 Years they would have made much more and toured less

It's not the amount of shitty shows they did it's the amount of Quality shows they could have done.
Huge mistake

Wow 8 people would buy a new cd and you say that's good?

Would I like Dennis back in the band? Of course.

Do you hear that Todd we want Dennis back in your shitty band.
