Can't you bring your radio into the closet with you?

He is probably talking to Kim Mitchell from the band Max Webster. It sounds about his time slot.

When do you plan to come out of the closet by the way? nyuk nyuk.

I have a feeling this will be the last go around for Gowan
Look at the last interview with Shaw and Young no mention of Gowan.
Now he's on Canada radio to let everyone there know he's Gowan the big shot Canadian star
Well come 2011 he can go back to being just that.

You should've heard Dennis sing "Whole Lotta Love," it would put Gowan's version of a Beatles tune to shame

I will take DeYoung's vocal talents over Larry Gowan's any day. They are miles apart in terms of vocal talent. Gowan wishes he had the abilities Dennis does.

Of course Froy's on to something.....When all you can do is cover, and you can only do it terribly, then it's only a matter of time before fate sweeps you out the door.

If Gowan starts singing with this "legendary" guitarist, then the guitarist will be legendary allright - for being such an idiot as to allow Gowan to sing with him!

The Froydian Army will prevail......

I don't know what part of This-Group-Will-Stay-Just-As-It-Is-And-Tour-Endlessly(Until the money dries up) is hard to understand.

JY loves, loves, loves Gowan. Thinks he is the greatest EVER!

The only one I see maybe departing to do some other things would be Todd, but the money is far too good with this gig. I think Touring Styx is looking for financial security and that is what they are getting right now.

No one going anywhere but back on the road -- together.

Well Bugs I have a feeling you could be wrong on this one, I would imagine these guys are done with the road after 11 straight years.
They have gone nowhere. They boast more shows than ever but they are playing to less and less of crowds without the quadruple bills
I know for a fact they have seen the You tube clips of Gowan and are not happy with the way he sings, He is not even mentioned anymore.
It's now a matter of do we really hate Dennis that much to keep Gowan around. I say that answer is NO. Dennis has never really said anything bad about his former mates, And Dennis is right a THE FANS WANT EM BACK TOGETHER. Even Babybarb would go see the classic lineup.
I say gone is Ricky Gowan and Todd . In comes Chuck and Steve Smith. A new cd and a massive tour in 2012,

Lets see what happens.

chuck can't even play the bass. it's one thing to talk about singers but when something so black and white as being able to play an instrument is unclear to you that's when you loose all credibility.

Froy,,I like Chuck's playing too,but fact, it seems is that he can only play so much.
So if you don't like Ricky and Chuck will be Chuck, you have to find somebody else then..??

haven't you ever noticed that the songs he does play his fingers are in a different key than the rest of the band? or they just turn his mix off i've noticed sometimes
