You would think that these would be pretty treasured items that they wouldn't be for sale. Does his daughter have a meth habit or something? :?

I'm sure she has her reasons for selling them which she doesn't need to share with anyone, but intimating she has a meth habit is IMO out of line.

Perhaps, but I agree!! I know I would have to be pretty desperate to auction off these very valuable items
that my father worked so hard for and then entrusted them to me ...sad!! I hope whomever
ends up w/them values them more than she.

Well, considering the fact her father did have a drug habit, it could be taken the way I did. I don't think joking about someone having any kind of drug habit is ha-ha funny.

This is the main reason this board has so many trolls on it, because some people are so serious and have no sense of humor at all, that feeds the trolls more than anything.

I agree. It's human nature to poke the bears and being uptight and ultra-sensistive will only start a feeding frenzy. That said, I was merely using hyperbole because I'm having a hard time figuring out the motivation for selling these incredibly cool items.

It would please me if he'd just interact w/his daughter and keep these treasures in the family where they belong ...or a public facility for all fans to enjoy!! Other than that, I've never wondered ...

I can tell you from my e-mails with her that Hannah saw what was posted here. Do you really think she likes reading that someone thinks - even in jest - thinks she may have a drug problem?

She wants the items to go to Styx fans who would appreciate them, hence posting them here or on eBay.

Maybe it would please them if fans would just stop making ignorant assumptions about their personal lives.

I feel certain of it ...the fact remains; if my child were selling off family treasures, I would question it as well!!

Maybe they're not family treasures. Maybe Tommy has 6 more of each one just like them at his place. "Things" have meaning for certain periods of time. Sometimes, they stay meaningful, and sometimes, they lose their significance to those who possess them. Sometimes, something else comes along that has more value than the "thing," and you then have to make a choice of what's more important at that time.

Tommy could have 100 of them at his place and not
one of those hundred are the one he gave to her, his child, thee single biggest thrill of his life!!
Now, if you're going to compare these objects with human life then no, they're insignificant!!
But then you're talking to a girl who cried when she had to hand over her original SS card, signed
in her little girl handwriting ...and I'm noone!!

Heaven forbid ... logic is entered into this equation.
