Why? I bet if you could read his contract with the band he is listed as an "employee". Just because you are there for 8 years doesn't make you something your not. People work at places for 10 years plus but at the end of it they were just employees.

After 11yrs some still say gowan is a hired gun. Never gonna change

i will absolutely promise you everything i own that gowan's contract states he is an employee.....if any of you out there think for a second that tommy and jy have given up any ownership of their business you are crazy as hell. gowan and todd may be paid real well and get treated well....but make no mistake the business of styx is not one that gowan, todd or ricky own any part of.

Exactly. I don't think that JY, TS and CP would go through the trouble of kicking out DDY to gain control of the band only to be possibly faced with that situation again.

I think its pretty safe to say that Larry, Todd and Ricky are paid employees they get paid per gig, they don't have any ownership that belongs to JY Tommy and Chuck.
