Which batch of songs do you prefer?

Postby gr8dane » Mon Apr 18, 2011 6:12 am

A lot has been said about Tommy's ability or inability to write songs because he was ripped to the tits on viz,
or having long hair in this day and age, though it is OK to have long hair if you play in Dennis' band.

Then we have prim, proper, pert, twee Dennis who ofcourse can do no wrong, except when he got a little loud
after one jaegerbomb on his 25th anniversary with Suzanne.

So with these very important facts available for your judgement ,which group of songs do you like best?

Tommy's -Boat on the river,Crystal Ball and Love in the midnight,
or
Dennis'-Carrie Ann,Boys will be boys and Esmeralda.

Not really a fair comparison. Two out of the three choices for Tommy are awesome and only Carrie Ann is medicore out of Dennis' bunch.

It would have been better to choose Lonely School, Bad Times and This Is Not A Test for Tommy's selections.

So there you have it.The results speak for themselves.
Dennis fans do not want new Styx with Dennis music. They want Dennis
doing what he does best.So if you can't get a new Dennis album, run don't walk out to get the new
Backstreet Boys,N'sync,O'town or Oak Ridge Boys album.Your needs should be fulfilled very nicely.

The Oakridge Boys are fantastic still going strong with the original guys.
More than I can say for the back stabbers

And FYI Esmeralda blows any Shaw song away.

Ha, Gr8!!!!! You have given yourself away! O-Town? Probably 4 people in the world know who they are (were) and you are one of them! (Ok, I am another.) Cheezy music at its finest.

So, are all those above groups you mention on continuous play on your iPod, eh?

I guess I already know you are one of the ones voting for the DDY songs.

Words speak louder than bombs.
You prefer boy bands more than the real deal.
I am worried about you.
If Oak Ridge Boys still have their original members,as you say,I am very impressed. It looks like they started out in 1962.
But I am sure you are right.Aren't you usually.

Esmeralda,tsk tsk.Thanks for the laughs.

Bugsy

Guilty as charged.
I do like a splash of schmaltz in my I-Pod shuffle.
So if you,I and froy knows and love O-Town,who is the 4th?

And no Bugsy,I did not vote .I did not want to swing the result .
And that's the truth(for now anyways).
But if froy wants me to,I will give Dennis my vote.

Well if Styx falls apart, JY, Tommy and Chuck can start a new band called the "back stabbers". Seems kind of fitting and catchy. Then JY could dig out all those fantastic rockers that Dennis shot down for Styx. His solo albums were so underrated. Wait, did anybody bother to rate them? 8)
