I think you are in the minority on this subject. He does sound quite a bit like Tommy when he was younger. I will add that I am not a big fan of bands or artists using a sound alike for a former member. This may not come across totally from a YouTube clip but in person it does.

I don't disagree that it's DDY's right to play any Styx song he chooses because Styx plays his, but neither side should. I don't like Gowan singing Dennis' songs and I certainly don't like August singing Tommy's. Like I said, they may have the right... but it don't make it right.
