Every time I hear this song it brings back a memory when I saw Dennis perform it on their '97 tour. While he was singing it there was point where he was singing with his eyes closed and some dude from the audience jumped up on stage right in front of Dennis which scared the crap out of Dennis. Lucky security pounced right on the guy and dragged him off stage.

Me, too! But, I take solace in the fact that tonight will always last as long as we keep alive the memory of paradise.

While I happen to not be too fond of "Paradise," the rendition here was just flawless. What I really liked though was the unplugged CSA that appears at the end of this clip. Band just seems to click and sound so good together. See, here's what I don't get about this band, they let all the petty bullshit (see separate thread[s]) get in the way of their obvious ability to make beautiful music together. It's just such a shame. For me, Styx is one of those bands that sounds like no other band and when their stuff was good, it was damn good. Even they know it. Notice the smiles by JY and TS near the end of the video. The smiles aren't for the camera, the smiles are, I think, for pulling off CSA acoustically (on a morning tv show) and, obviously, sounding great doing it.

Here's another live version. Dennis has such a powerful voice.
