Seems they have added to the Styx behind the music. It will be on VH1 classic this month. They will also be on The Rosie Show and the NBC Improv-ice show this month.

Well, that would mean current "new" interviews with past and present band members. I'm all for it, but there's really nothing to add to the story. They'll have to cut about a 1/4 of the original footage in order to add to it. I'm surprised they'd choose Styx to do a Behind the Music Remastered... but not unhappy about it. I hope Dennis got an updated interview.

I wonder if there will be updated interviews actually done by VH1 on this? I believe that both camps were not really thrilled with the outcome of the original. So I don't see why they would even bother going through this again. Will be interesting to see what they add.

FYI, according to the schedule for VH1 Classic on www.vh1.com the episode is to air on Jjan. 14th at 9pm EST.

Hopefully they'll feature Dennis's current band for a segment of it

Glen has been in both camps since the orginal aired. I would like to hear his views on both.

Normally I would be attending Styx in Ft. Worth @ Billy Bob's on Saturday night. I really like their set list. But since they are more interested in jewelry & ice dancing than they are in sacking up risking some $ and creating new music I will be home watch Behind The Music on Saturday.

Updated version? No Dennis at all. He was never a part of this band. New History will be incorporated including the "founding of the band" by JY and the Panozzo Bros. Any archival footage will just have some random guy green screened in, in place of Dennis, where he cannot be erased entirely from the photos or film.
