REO Speedwagon:
Okay friends, A while back I mentioned that we had something extremely special planned for Summer 2012. I have been dieing to tell you all about it, and finally the time has come...tomorrow. I know this is a total tease. I can tell you that we are very excited that all the bands are from the great Midwest. We will be bringing the power of Midwest Rock'n Roll all over the USA. Tune in tomorrow for the official tour announcement.....

Since Kevin Cronin said "all the bands" I'll say that Kansas might be on the bill too.

Why isn't the Milwaukee date, March 3rd listed on the Styx tour dates? They're playing after the Milwaukee Admirals hockey game. I was wondering why they left that one off, does anyone know why?

Good god this sounds painful. I hope DDY comes to the area sometime this year.

Styx should give the fans a bone and should've had Night Ranger instead of Reo because they could've pulled off a set of Damn Yankees after the closing band.

Heck, if they would add Head East and Shooting Star to the line up, it would be a Midwestern tour worth going to.

This would've been a great idea!!
It's the inclusion of Uncle Teddy that makes this
ticket worth seeing, for me!! More Night Ranger,
and the opportunity for more SIC would've been
icing ...^^^^but that would've been the
cherry!!

You seriously didn't know that they were playing on the ice after the hockey game??????

Most of my Midwest "Styx" friends on Facebook bought tickets right when it was announced before Christmas. You're probably friends with the same people. I'm just surprised that it's not listed on their tour dates. Is it because it's after a hockey game again?

Should be Night Ranger instead of REO. That way we could get a Damn Yankees reunion.

I don't want to shit on the Styx/REO pairing because it has proven to be profitable and probably will be again, but man they sure tour together a lot. Here's to hoping that they at least change up the set lists a little bit. You know, they've closed every show since 1999, with the exception of GI/Po8 with Renegade. Maybe it's time for some set list surgery.
