Learn from Train

If Styx really wants to go into merchandising, they need to learn from Train. Train wine, Train chocolates.....those guys know how to market.

JY should set up a meeting with Patrick Monahan....

What does a rock band have to do with chocolate and wine? Seriously, instead of wasting time with that, how about putting that thought process to writing and releasing new music??? Whether it's singles to pay for and download from the web site, a full album, or whatever, I am so much more interested in what Styx (or any band for that matter) has to say musically as oppose to eating something with a band's label on it.
You got jewelry? Fine. You got T-shirts? Great. Concert Programs? Cool.
Food items???? Not interested.

Let's produce some NEW tunes and stop skirting around what you should be doing.

Just read an article in the USA Today's Business section that said that JY, Tommy and the boyz are trying to somehow bring back the Hostess Fruit Pie under some type of Styx licensing deal. What was once the Hostess Fruit Pie will become the Styx Hostess Fruit Pie and will be sold at concerts, through ticketmaster( all concert sales) and when you purchase Styx brand coffee, or any product off of their website. Nothing was said about Twinkees, Cup Cakes or SuzyQ's.

Wonder whos idea this was? Ch.........

I think you will have to wait till they are "playing ice hockey over the river Styx" for this to happen. At this point what more proof do people need that those in charge in Styx have no ambition to release new material. All they have done is come up with every reason why it doesn't make sense for a band like them. Not to mention that there is no money in it. Which doesn't fit Styx's current M.O..

I thought that the 'Kiss Your A$$ Goodbye' toilet paper had another Styx's members photo on it.

Did once hear that Chuck was going to direct the video for that song, but when Cyclorama didnt bring in the $$$ they thought it was going to they scraped the video.

Toph.In all seriousness. With your Train wine, you can get dinner plates at the Kansas band merch store.
Also get the Train wine decanter and wine mugs.
You will be ready to serve a rock'n roll dinner.
Train chocolates and Styx coffee for desert.
It doesn't get much better than that. :D
