If they plan to release any other of the albums demos like they did for hi infidelity.
I also asked if they could play only the strong survive. He said there is some stuff
in that song he can't sing anymore sure

REALLY?? I wonder what part??? Love the song 'Only The Strong Survive'. It is one of REOs best. Overall Nine Lives was a GREAT album. I also thought that 'Variety Tonight' off of Life As We Know It was one of their BEST EVER songs.

Listening to it now. Just heard your question. You wasted time asking REO a question???
;)

Didn't really dig how they ducked the Mr. Roboto question. While it was pretty funny, they should've just said "No, it's just such a Dennis signature number..., etc." The guy who asked the question asked it respectfully, and it would've been nice had they given him a respectful answer. Also- It's been SO LONG now, they really SHOULD just drop it in. The crowd would really go apesh*t and, quite frankly, it would surprise people. It really IS a signature DeYoung tune, but it's certainly not going to hurt anybody if they do it. Make it heavier than it was when it was recorded and have fun with it.

I am curious, what was their answer then ?
And why was it so funny?
I myself would prefer a Roboto free concert(though I really do dig the synth work on that song).
Imagine Gowan walking around with the mask ,singing Dopo arigato i am getting shafto. (singing this song)?

Lawrence would sound good singing Mr. Roboto, perhaps more so than any other Dennis song. His voice is made for 80s synth-driven stuff.

Listen to the rebroadcast. I'm not a huge fan of Roboto, but SO many people are. When a local Styx tribute band ( :D ) played up here, the casino they were playing at ran a poll "What's yer favorite Styx song?" 80% said Roboto out of about 125 peeps. Shocking to me... BUT it's indicative of the traction that song has. It's not a favorite of mine, but after playing it for a few years, I've grown to like it much more than I did. What's the harm? I doubt Gowan would do the roboto mask thing.

In the long run, I think that Roboto has had more of a positive impact then a negative one. It found it;s place in pop culture which isn't a bad thing by any means. I think they could take the approach that Dennis does with it. He doesn't take the song seriously, is happy for the exposure it's given the band and him and he just has fun with it.
