One other tidbit that I didn't think much of then, but is now looming large. 2 weeks ago my brother was in the Chicago airport and ran into none other than Tommy Shaw....

They're playing a show with REO for tornado victims

Well, glad to see they are doing something to help victims out of the tornado.

But I will say, if you look at the comments after that tease post on Facebook, a significant amount were "Dennis coming back?" "Dennis to return?" "Please say Dennis is coming back..." etc. etc. Face it, that will be the first thing most fans will think of when they get a message like that - meaning that if it ever did happen, among the fan base, it would be big news. It also means that there is a latent desire by many to see the original surviving members of the band back together. Its as simple as that. And as long as these guys, who are now almost all able to collect social security, selfishly ignore that fact, they hurt their legacy.

I was just happy that it wasn't another Jewelry announcement.

I would've liked an album annoucement much better. But it is good that they are helping the families of this disaster. The same thing was going on the reo side with fans hoping a reunion tour was going on. Sorry but have you seen richrath these days????

Chuck Panozzo has been sharing a lot of pictures from the "Styx reunion with Dennis DeYoung" facebook page. It's on his mind at least. Didn't he say he'd like to see it happen before another one of them dies?

All I know is that Chuck's most recent statements about a reunion have been that he is happy with the way things are now.
