Either you hate Roboto and don't acknowledge it or you do. You don't hate it when its cool to hate it and love it when its cool to love it. That is...can I say it?...hip hop hippocrissy hip hop...
Yeah, quite being so hypocritical. Either you acknowledge Dennis and everything he brought to the band, or not. Either you can take the fact that the rest of the band was tired of his arrogant, self-righteous, "I deserve all the credit", "Styx is MY band", attitude and the band broke up because of it, or you can't. That is...can I say it?
Well, blind faith put you where you are now
You're a selfish old cow gettin' high on society's milk.
We pay your bills, life should be so tough.
You'd better watch your fat ass, 'cause we've had enough
I guess they had enough, huh? When are you gonna accept the full package?
As for Kilroy and Babe. It seems to me the band did not want the Styx soul to be defined only by those songs, and worked hard to ensure that did not happen. Yeah, I think they hated recording them. I think they hate playing them. But, I think they also know that Roboto has become a nostalgic throwback that many people can identify Styx with. They accept that, and even had Roboto as part of the Styx medley years ago. Their issue is to make it known that Styx is MUCH more then Roboto and Babe. If you don't also believe that about Styx music, then I have to question how much of your fandom is influenced by your obvious bitterness.
Ah, and BTW, I didn't know your name was "rich".
