Has anyone checked out the Foo Fighters kinda video diary on the making of Sonic Highways on HBO? The first episode was on Chicago and I was hoping that Styx would be mentioned. They were, but figures it'd be in a negative way. A musician named Jason Narducy of the band Verbow (never heard of him or them) mentioned how he saw in the liner notes of a Cheap Trick album that it was recorded at Pumpkin Studios, so he went there hoping to see them come out only to be disappointed that instead he saw Styx exiting. I like Cheap Trick as well, but to me they don't compare to Styx.
