Toto is so high because of popularity, especially overseas in Europe, they sell out big venues over there. I was most shocked to see ZZTop for 350k.

What I find odd is that Black Sabbath only charged 100 grand and Hillary Duff charges 500,000. Sabbath is lower than many of the acts and I would have to assume there would be higher demand for a Sabbath Show than a Hillary Duff show.

these kinds of lists are always fun to look at but I know for a fact that some of those are incorrect....I have seen checks that promoters have given to some of those acts and those checks were not what is indicated on that list.

In addition, regardless of what a band normally gets to play these kinds of lists never take into account travel routes and how they affect what a band is willing to take.......many many bands will be traveling from one large market to another large market where they may be getting 100k for each of those shows.....but then they have a chance to play a one off gig in a smaller market while traveling and they may take half of what they normally get just to pick up some extra cash they wouldn't have otherwise.

lastly, in looking at the list and gauging it's validity.......there is NO WAY in hell that bad company gets 150k per night and no way do they make more money than many of those bands on that list. and there is no way cyndi lauper pulls 150k per show either......she couldn't sell out a dunkin donuts parking lot, much less gross 150k per show.
