Take all the Styx albums from Wooden Nickel to A&M to CMC etc and make 1 CD based on where the song appeared on the album. You can only choose 1 song number 1 on side 1 one song #2 on side 1 etc.... Some tough Choices
Grand Illusion VS Lights VS Rockin The Paradise VS Love Is The Ritual VS You Need Love VS On My Way VS Great White HopeVS Roboto VS Light Up - Tough song #1
Lady VS Fooling Yourself VS Show Me The Way VS Too Much Time On My Hands VS Paradise VS Lorelei - song # 2
ETC...... Make your CD

Great one. Do we go 4 songs per side or 5?

Wow, this is really a tough assignment Yogi. Props for the mental stimulation! Slot 1, 2, and 4 are a bitch. So many good ones to choose from. Thank goodness that the 2nd side of Pieces of Eight is the big side or else it would have been even more difficult. I am assuming a 5 song per side album (including AD 1928 with RTP).
Side 1
1. AD 1928/Rockin' The Paradise - just barely over Grand Illusion and I also love Lights.
2. Show Me The Way - Just almost impossible since you also have TMTOMH, Lady, Lorelei in this slot
3. Don't Let It End - Surprisingly a weaker slot for Styx. Babe, Sing For The Day other considerations
4. Come Sail Away - Almost impossible - beats out Best of Times, Crystal Ball, and Love At First Sight
5. Boat On the River - Great song. Gets a bump with fewer album sides going 5 songs deep.
Side 2
1. Borrowed Time - Another slot that you'd think would be stronger, this one and Blue Collar Man the only two in consideration
2. Man In The Wilderness - so much stronger than the side 2, track 1 slot - beats out B4A, This Old Man, QoS, and She Cares!
3. Renegade - Ah, where do you put Suite Madame Blue? I guess it goes in the 3rd slot with Prelude 12. This still wins
4. Pieces of Eight - My favorite DDY "B side" - 2 from Pieces of Eight in a row, barely beats out Haven't We Been Here and HP2P
5. AD 1958/Best of Times - This is totally cheating and a sneaky way to get BOT in there, but I'll play it since Yogi included it and he started the thread. Beats out B2Chicago, Don't Let It End Reprise.
