This past weekend on Octane I heard (twice) the new remake of the Styx classic. I also just heard it on a 'modern rock' station out of Shreveport.

Shallow Side also did a video for the song that you can find on YouTube.

Renegade is the first single on their soon to be released album. If it charts this will be the second hit single for this up & coming 4 man band. These guys are really good. Excellent vocals with all members singing

There is also a You Tube video where Shallow Side does a 20 minute interview and play the song acoustically plugging an upcoming concert. In the video the lead singer praises Styx ' as one of the GREATEST American bands ever. It prompts the girl doing the interview to say well this is the first time we have ever played a Styx song here.

that was actually a very well done cover! they kept enough of the original to make it very recognizable while making it their own.

Its getting plenty of love ( airplay).

Hopefully it will hit BIG again!!!
