Has this concert ever come out on CD?

I watched the Youtube version of it and the sound quality is excellent.

To the best of my knowledge these Winterland concerts were never officially released on CD. However, there may be bootlegs out there. I believe you can download audio for these from this site. You'll need to sign up for a membership though.

Just watching these videos DAMN were they GREAT!!

The set they did on the Equinox tour was EPIC. I will always believe that side two of the Equinox disc was the BEST side on a rock and roll album EVER. What a great concert. Dennis was such a badass.

Then the Grand Illusion concert even topped the Equinox show.

How incredible.

After viewing and listening to some of what was said especially Tommy's intro to Man In The Wilderness ( water Water everywhere and not a drop to drink) I realized that I do have this recording on CD. It was sent to me this year by one of the greats that visits this site from time to time.

There are a few "boot" shows that have been cleaned up. They sound really good, especially the Mantra Studios show.

That's where I got mine too. Great site to get stuff that will never be released commercially.
