Today a gathering of angels has added one very special voice to its heavenly choir.
Dawn Marie Feusi, my wife's sister and my singing partner left this world today far too soon leaving us devastated and broken hearted.
Though she knew from the beginning that her prognosis was dire Dawn never stopped believing that she would overcome the odds. In various stages of paralysis and all the indignities suffered she always remained positive, never losing hope. How, I don't know.
The first time I ever saw Dawn was in Suzanne's parents dining room in Suzanne's arms wrapped in a blanket just six months old. Even as a child she loved to sing and dance and while in high school starred in all the plays and musicals. From the first day we sang together our voices blended like no other I have ever sung with. Magic. Both in the Styx harmonies as well in the role of Esmeralda in the The Hunchback of Norte Dame her voice shined.
If you will, please say a prayer for Dawn, her son Thomas, her mom Connie, her brother, Jim, her sister Pam and most of all her big sister and my soulmate Suzanne DeYoung. This one really hurts...
Goodbye Dawn
Love Suzanne, CarrieAnn, Matthew and Dennis
