Tommy Shaw solo live and acoustic in Nashville 1/10/18
Posted: Sat Dec 23, 2017 8:44 amTommy is scheduled to give a rare solo acoustic performance at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville on January 10, 2018 as part of the Bluebird's series of hospice benefit concerts in January. Tommy will be performing in the round with country songwriter and musician Phil Vassar. I've attended several of the in the round shows at the Bluebird and they usually consist of the artists in question sharing stories and anecdotes in between trading off songs for 75-90 minutes. It's a tiny venue with a capacity of 90 and the musicians are seated literally in the middle of the room, so regardless of where you're sitting you're going to be just a few feet away from the performers. Should be a great evening and a nice change of the pace from the stale Styx setlists we're all bored with! A few tickets are still available at www.bluebirdcafe.com
