Hmm... interesting....

At this point, no one seemed to begrudge DeYoung his paternal role, for which he seemed ideally suited. The writer and producer of 80 percent of the band's hit material, he was usually quite serious and, at 33, its oldest member. "He's the daddy," J.Y. said at the time. "He enjoys doing that, and as a daddy, he's not too bad."

yeh I used to occasionally say decently nice things about my x wife......lol. it was in my best interests during those times to say nice things about her, whether I believed they were true or not. 8)

Or it shows irregularities in your statements. Sometimes you alter them to fit your current narrative or actions.
