unfortunately it will only be a single album. They are only picking the best songs to release unlike DDY.

I hope its better than the Mission, I was not impressed at all, I tried to like it, to me its too flat and boring, there really isn't anything memorable off it. Cycorama is a great album, of course having Glen Burtnik didn't hurt.

See, I'm the opposite... I enjoyed The Mission a lot (some tracks don't hook me much, but overall..) and Cyclorama to me is just a total heap of ... yeah, I cannot get behind Cyclorama... that is the farthest thing from a Styx album to me.

Brave New World to be was the worst modern album up until The Mission came along. I liked BNW when it came out, maybe cause I was craving anything new from Styx, but going back to listen to it now, it really is an awful album. I think I have only listened to my Mission cd 20 times, It just doesn't move me at all.

Heh, once again.. I'd place BNW over Cyclorama any day. Then again, this is the same kind of differing opinion that has existed among Styx fans and band members for eons :P

The magic is when they found that great balance :)

I really do hope Gowan has more input in the writting this time around, I love his style and what he could bring to the table. Still can't believe he has not released a solo album since he joined Styx, Ive grown fond of his albums over the years, they are laced with memorable songs.

His Dr. Starlight Solo CD was to be released this year - but it looks like with Covid it's been put on the back burner too..

I like Cyclorama better that BNW for one reason....Just fell in. Horrible song.

i think the mission is epic and I loved it from the beginning and still listen to it on a regular rotation even now.
