It was on this day in 1977 that Styx would release The Grand Illusion. It would elevate them to heights they had only dreamed of just a few years prior.
I wasn't alive when the album came out, I would discover Styx and their catalogue during my teen years in the late 90s.
From The Grand Illusion to The Grand Finale, the album would produce a stellar set of songs.
