Styx has had six different lead vocalists over the years on various albums. Is there another band with that distinction? My favorites by each.

Dennis - Queen of Spades
JC - Mother Dear
JY - Rock and Roll Feeling
Tommy - Locomotive
Gowan - Reveries
Glen - Love is The Ritual

I bet Chicago has at least six... journey has had six but not all on album...unless you include Generations where everybody in the band had lead vocals on a song.

I forgot about Chicago, they had at least 6 by 1986.

Dennis-Suite Madame Blue
Tommy-Blue Collar Man
JY-These Are The Days
Glen-Love is the Ritual
JC-A Day
Larry-Fields of the Brave

Suite Madame Blue I can understand her not listing Larry, since he replaced Dennis. I have gotten to the point I like him, he is ok doing Dennis' stuff, but I like him for his stuff. I had put the blame on him for a few years, but not now. All the blame lies at the feet and of JY and the Midget.

What does Neal Schon have to do with this?

What are you talking about? Move on from what?

It's hilarious to me that people make fun of Tommy's height....AND people make fun of Schon's height, too. I've even replied this way in the past here.

It's an old joke that goes back to Tommy's solo albums even. What is Tommy's "Ambition?" To be taller. A friend told me that on the way to a DY concert...too funny...and a LONG time ago.

Tommy, as far as I know, ignores it. But, Neal, as I understand, hates it. Who cares. really?

I am still trying to figure out why Larry gets any blame at all with the DDY vs Styx split?

In some way, yes I could see them wanting to try it on their own, show their is a Styx without DDY (Yes there is, but it is not THE Styx). But after he got well, they should have let him back...ok they didn't, but enough time has passed by, Give DDY a final tour with Styx and after that Tommy and JY can have at it again.

I have not seen Styx since 2009, I believe, and it is because of the attitude they show toward DDY, on and off stage. I had free tickets one time, and this year I could have seen them free again. I refuse too, until Dennis gets his farewell tour. I have seen Dennis solo a few times since 2007/08 (I am on cold meds so my thoughts are not that clear) and will keep going if he does. I would go see Larry solo, JY solo, Tommy Solo, Todd and Rick too. I refuse to see them together for now. I think the current members of Styx are all good artists, but Tommy and JY refuse to do what is right and give Dennis and the fans one last go.
