Just a thought.....

If JY does retire from Styx...how would people feel if Glen came in to take his place? That could be interesting. Tommy could do JY's parts and Glen already knows Tommy's parts for the old songs...

Glen left in 2003 because he wanted to spend more time raising his kids. They're adults now but Glen now has grandchildren so I don't know if going back on the road after 20+ years is in his wheelhouse.

He doesn't need to tour with Styx - they have Terry and Wil..

But doing a few shows with them and bringing out the deep tracks from Cyclorama would be pretty cool!

Glen will be playing a one off show in NJ on May 30th with some members of the old DDY band a couple other guys. All Styx songs. Styx will be playing in Florida that night and this could also be the release date for the new Styx album. Busy Styx day!

I loved Glen in Styx. Both renditions.

Only one word can sum up how awesome this is.

Just imagine Dennis making a surprise appearance and joins Glen on stage for Glen's songs on Cyclorma? What better way to say "Hey, Dennis truly 100% THIS SONG ISN'T ABOUT YOU" and have him play keyboards on "Killing The Thing That You Love"?

Just saying, an Accordian would sound pretty rad on "Yes I Can".

So I went. Drove 9 hours for this, and was NOT dissapointed!

Got front row tickets, the band sounded great, and were having alot of fun on stage. They had videographers filming the entire show, so who knows where it might pop up!?

Even got the chance to meet Glen afterwords and take a picture with him, super cool!!

Absolutely Awesome!!! Thanks to SuiteMadameBlue I got to meet and spend a lot of time talking to Glen after he played with Dennis years ago in Wisconsin. Glen was so cool & nice.

Wow that's such a great setlist, I hope Glen takes this show to some more places. I'd love to see that show!

Does Glen sing lead on all the songs? I know he’d do His plus all the Tommy led Styx songs. If not, who sings the DDY & JY led Styx songs?

First time I saw Styx was in my hometown as a teenager in 2000. I waited outside the venue hoping to meet the guys and get autographs. The buses were separated and I ended up standing around Glenn and Todd's bus, which they happened to already be inside of. Being a naive teen at the time and it being relatively fresh - I was upset over Dennis being ousted and wanted to "plea" with JY and Tommy to let him back in (because, you know, they'd listen to ME... LOL)... I didn't say anything to JY about it during our brief interaction but I had found a Styx forum on Yahoo (I think) and had collected letters from fans and printed them off to hand to Tommy or JY. It was myself and others 'begging' them to bring Dennis back, telling them how much we loved them and how important we felt it was for Dennis to be there. I handed an envelope to JY as our interaction ended and was just like "oh and here's some letters I collected from fans on the internet!"..... I'm sure they tossed those right away

No, August and Jimmy also sang lead.

That is funny. Way back when Edge came out, I was on the various AOL type forums. Specifically: AOL, Prodigy, and GEnie. GEnie had the most active Styx forum of all of them. There could literally be hundreds of posts per day. There were a few what I will call Styx Queens back then...and there were sometimes HUGE arguments between them because of the Glen/Tommy thing...and just cat fights of who was the bigger fan, who had the most Styx stuff, and stuff about various fan newsletters. It was a bit crazy. One of the Queens on GEnie was a HUGE Dennis fan. She did almost the EXACT same thing that you did...she had front row seats at an Edge concert and she decided to print out all of the messages on the forum (which would have been THOUSANDS, maybe tens of thousands) and either hand them with a dozen roses to Dennis, or toss them and the roses in his direction. I know she did it but I don't remember what happened after...there was so much chaos with the Queens arguing about Dennis and Kilroy and Glen/Tommy, DY, even JY vs Nugent, and how good/bad Edge was. It was VERY crazy back then...more crazy than this forum has EVER been.

Look above the quote you quoted on. It says it’s quoting Yogi but I never did that, said that or ever even thought that ever in my life. Styxguy did that but it says I did.
