Is anybody going to see Dennis in Indy or South Bend this weekend? :)

I didn't realize that South Bend was so close to the Chicago area, I'm only 3 1/2 hours from the concert.

I'm listening to "Castle Walls" right now, I can't wait to hear it again live!!

Madame,

Wow, you are one devoted fan ! As much as I enjoyed the show last weekend, now that I have the CD and DVD the only way I'll attend again is if he comes into my back yard ( Madison ) Otherwise, I'll put on the DVD and crank it up to get my DDY fix.

If you do go, enjoy the show.

I cant BELIEVE we havent heard from Froy with all of the shows Dennis is performing now. Hell he flew across the country to see the 'now' Journey. He should be wetting himself now that Dennis is playing soo many shows soo close to his home. The sale of Wal Mart stock has been skyrocketing just from all of the new underware being sold to Froy and Suite Madam. Rock on Type One Fans you should be in your element right now, and I'm HAPPY for you!!!! Im hoping Dennis makes his way into Texas so I get a chance to see him again. Its kind of wild his shows are being sponsered by Finesse. According to an ASSEMBLY LINE that was posted a while back, and if some of the posters were accurate you would think that the Rug Doctor would of been a better fit for Dennis as a sponser. I hope ALL of you enjoy the shows. As for me I guess Ill just have to settle for 10 from Broadway, or Hunchback until DDY makes his 'Journey' to the deep south. I can hear 'Summertime ' blasting in the background. My wife must be home! Life is GOOOOOD!!!!!

I'm just making up for lost time. I missed so many Styx concerts when I was younger and I really enjoy hearing the music live. I would like to go again this weekend, but I'm going to wait until the Chicago show.

Yogi, I'm very happy to see Dennis on a tour (can't you tell?) I hope that you'll get a chance to see him perform with his band and orchestra, I think deep down you'll really like the concert

Also Yogi, I didn't need to make any extra trips to Wal-Mart, just relaxing, enjoying life

Life is too short, I'm planning to see concerts of the groups that I liked when I was younger. I'm looking forward to Rush this year (hopefully they'll still tour) too. Triumph is out, but I'm glad to see Rik still touring. Looking forward to Van Hagar too  Night Ranger should be fun and will hopefully tour closer to my area. Journey, well I don't know what they're going to do this year.

Yogi, good to hear rom you ! I'm hoping RickyStyx plays near me this summer too.....I'm going to catch that show if at all possible, unless the shared billing with so many other groups pushes ticket prices over $50.00. I'm a Fan, but I'm tight with the money too....
there's toys I want for the house more than seeing a live show if it's going to cost an arm and a leg....

I do regret never getting to see Styx live with Burtnik though...from what I hear, he added alot of energy to their show.

Psst...Yogi,

Dennis isn't performing Summertime on this tour. So if he comes down your way you'll have to content yourself with hearing it on your 10 on Broadway cd.

Classic, I'd like to see Night Ranger alone. If it is true that they'll be touring with Styx & Ted then I'm sure the ticket prices will be high, depending on the venue. For a concert with this line-up, I'm sure they'll be playing at amplitheatres and not the State Fairs. :P

That's right Yogi, no Summertime this tour. He added his new song "Hello God", which is a really nice song. I think you'd like it

Maybe he's lurking out there, waiting until he has something
interesting to add to the conversation.

Speaking of which, I went to the Appleton Post-Crescent website
to see if they had a review or interview with Dennis surrounding his show there......there was 1 of each.

In the non-review article, Dennis made a comment ( not snide or anything ) pointing out that he is only performing songs he's written on his tour, and that Styx is also doing some of those same songs. I'm paraphrasing this heavily, suggest you go and read for yourself if interested....to find, do a Google search on Appleton, it's pretty easy after that.

I think I'll be looking around at the newspapers of the cities he visits to see what else he has to say as the tour progresses.

Quoting Froy:

"I'm doing a Kramer Im never going to talk again

Is that a threat or a promise ??????? Just kidding....

Froy,

Your opinions are one reason alot of us come to this board...while we may not always agree with you, they help to keep the discusssion lively.....I'm certainly not going to beg, but I hope you aren't permanently going mute.

Hey Froy,
That was a CLASSIC!!!!!! I will be interested to find out how you are going to communicate with the rest of us peons now. Maybe you could come back as a now styx hating marine biologist?????? How does that sound?? As for you Suite Man Hands Blue..., I have seen Dennis live with orchestra in tow, last year in Houston. It was GREAT GREAT show, that I thoroughly enjoyed. I really did!!!! I also think the other 800 or so fans that attended that Saturday night liked it too. I have his new CD and I enjoy it . I like his new song Goodnight My Love, or whatever the hell it is called the best. I have had a hard time getting into his two new 'God' songs. Hold on......., I'm hearing Dennis's version of 'Memories' in the other room, or is that Manilow???? Sorry for thinking out loud. Anyway, my wife must be home again.Hey, if Froy gets to be Kramer now, maybe I will become Norm. None of you have ever seen my wife!! Rock on Type 1's, Dennis is out there and doing damage, you gotta be happy!!!!!!!!!!!!! Master of the house da to da to da..................

Just when I thought I was out they keep pulling me back in.
It's been tough thinking about anything Styx these days
It really ashame that Shaw and Young just go on there merry ways using the Styx name when it's certainly not even close to a Styx band.

I wish people would stand up to these 2 guys and never see there act again.
That would shut them down and force them to quit or bring Dennis and Chuck back.
Problem is there are just too many followers out there who are afraid to make stand.

As far as Dennis's show there need to be some new songs added.
This show has been the same for years .

Im bored with anything Styx right now .

These are ( not the most exciting ) times for Things Styx and Styx related........get used to it, I guess.

At least we have 3 new DDY songs for a change of pace.
