I'm just curious...you post like somebody who has been around these forums for a while...Were you ever on Prodigy/GEnie, etc, back during the Edge days? You sound like the type who would have been in all the discussionish 'talk' with people like Cheryl Leigh (DesertMoon), Dayle D., Suzy Q, Micky(Ms. Yankee Pride), etc.

I mostly lurk here...mostly because I get 'discussionish' enough in the Journey forums.
Being in the middle of "Dennis vs. Styx" along with "Perry vs. Journey" seems like it would be a bit overkill. Not that you should care...I probably wouldn't be on the side you would want.

I don't know, I guess you just seem like somebody who knows Styx stuff, but has also been around long enough to know how to handle certain people/issues.

No, that wouldn't be me. I didn't start posting on any sites until 2 years ago.

Actually I do care how people feel about Dennis vs. Styx and Steve vs. Journey. It doesn't matter what side you're on, everybody has their own opinion. There are so many feelings within each band that fans will never understand. Us, being the fans, will never know what really went on inside these bands, we will never know what was really said and done. None of us were there while they were writing and recording their albums/cd. None of us were on the road on their bus or plane to see how they really interacted with each other. I'm sure each band member has his own side of the story of what really happened, but again, we will never know.

Anyway, I've been a fan of Styx since 1972. I've been collecting articles from the past and piecing a lot of information together. I'm stuck on tour dates from 1974-1976. I'm also trying to find more film footage from the 1970's. I posted on the Journey board looking for film footage from the Sunshine Festival in Hawaii. The festival took place on New Year's Eve and New Years Day. Tommy Shaw was new in the band so it had to be sometime after 1975. Journey played that same weekend, but I'm not sure the same day. No one seems to know the exact year
