No way Tommy Shaw
No Way Jimbo

No more money is going from my pocket to yours.
You are both liars and losers.
Milk the mindless girls that follow you around Tommy I hope your proud.

Styx has been gone since you sandbagged Dennis DeYoung.
I don't even know if he did come back if I could stand looking at you.

I hope EVEYONE stays away from buying anthing Styx related.

And now The Message Is Clear.

Styx Yet To Be Released Albums (Due in 2004)
Styx - Greatest Hits 1996-1997
Styx - Greatest Intro's
Styx - Greatest Guitar Solo's from Blue Collar Man - Concerts 1980 - Present
Carrott Styx - 10 on Broadway (Styx plays DeYoung)
Styx - Greatest Hits (the Japanese Singles)
etc.........

I love both incarnations of this band (or should I say all incarnations) - but I agree. Unless there in previously unreleased material on this album it is a waste of money.

On another note - on another thread someone mentioned that the reason for the cancellation of the Night Ranger / Nugent / Styx tour was that the Reluctant one was pissed about the money. While it is true that Blades, Shaw, and Nugent were scheduled to make more (they would also play as the Damn Yankees and quite naturally make more off the draw than the other members of the band). It wasn't JY that compained - it was the boys from Night Ranger that refused - this plus the fact that Ted may have had to back out due to personal reasons.

Yeah.... Ted would have had to bail around election day so he could camp out in front of his polling place and threaten to put an arrow through Kerry voters :) (anyone who has been to one of his concerts in the past year will know what I'm talking about).

Froy,
You ever meet Ted? You ever have a chance to sit down and talk to the man? Obviously not!! If you had - whether or not you agree with his politics - you would not make the comment that you just made!!!
His reason for not touring has nothing to do with his politics - it has to do with spending time with his family!! Period!!!
It kills me that you can make assumptions and comments about people you have never met!! I would love to see you say that to his face - but you never would - you don't have the balls - you are awfully brave on a message board. C'Mon Froy - back it up - post your phone number - I'll have Ted call you after reading this post.
For the record - yes I know the man - rather well. How else did I know about the proposed tour almost 6 months ago - look it up - I posted it!!

My sister met Ted a few years ago here. She said that he was very nice and sat and talked with her and her group of friends (mixed with males and females) and about anything and everything. She was very surprised on how "normal" he was, just like a regular guy.

I personally never met him.

If Night Ranger pulled out, why did Jack say about why it didn't happen?: I know that would have been great but the powers that be screwed that one up ... too bad some people don't have the fans best interest at heart ... just money.

Or was it the other members of Night Ranger? Just wondering

Who needs to meet the guy
He shoots his big mouth off everytime the camera is on .
Unless that's just an act he sounds like a jerk,

I careless about him touring.
I am commenting on his tv apperances in which he comes off arrogant.

Nugent's a redneck, no doubt. An extreme conservative? You betcha. He also comes across in the public eye as a arrogant prick, but I haven't seen much that makes me think the guy is an idiot.

Regardless, he's a fantastic guitar player. I just had the pleasure of seeing the guy do a rare gig in Scotland, and it was easily one of the best shows I've seen. His playing was the best I've seen him do, his band was tight, the setlist was great, and his stage banter was hilarious (I'll admit, we had the benefit of not getting any direct political crap, since it's pointless campaigning for Bush in the UK). The only thing that would've made it better would've been Derek St. Holmes.

I don't agree with a lot of what Nugent says and does, but I will give him his due as a musician and performer. He's a rock dinosaur, and I love him for it.

Well, if that isn't the pot calling the kettle black! haha

Stumble, I've met Ted, and he was terrific - very calm, reserved, well-spoken, and polite.

no comment.

Wow anybody catch that "reality show" on VH1 with Nugent and company about the super band. Of course, it all goes with a huge grain of salt, but Sebastian Bach really comes off as being the ego maniac a--hole on this show. But again, how much of it is fake?

I love that show "Supergroup"!! I totally agree how Sebastian comes off as an Ego Maniac A-Hole, totally! I swear that most of it's fake, especially with him and now him and Evan. Oh no, will Evan make it in time for the show??? I'm sitting at the end of my seat - LOL Oh the drama!!

I like Jason Bonham a lot and that Scott Ian!! I always like Ted Nugent, he seems to tell it like it is!

luved watching Supergroup too!!! I <3 Scott ian. he kills me! LOL! met him once a long time ago, and i also hung out with his brother jason a few times as well.

i find it amusing (ironic?) that Charlie Brusco made it into the last episode, while Tommy & Jack didn't. :::sigh::: i guess they would've been a distraction to the storyline, but it would have been interesting to see the group dynamics with them there.
