JY stars in MacBeth

When you listen to the reluctant legend in interviews, does anyone else see a little bit of Macbeth in him or is it just me?

You know the tired old chestnut of a couple of witches whispering in his ear, "all hail MacJY, thane of Chicago, all Hail MacJY he who shall be king of Styx hereafter."

JY's response: "So if two of the founding members die and one other gets sick, that only leaves one to kick out and I shall be ruler of all I survey?"

Witches response: "Yes that and with the help of a southern outsider, all will come to pass."

O.K. maybe a bit of flight of fantasy, but it would make a hell of a play!

Something to think about.

EK,

Just wait until I compare Tommy to Othello... :D

The Moor from the south, not the game of the same name.

And after that is the comparison of Lawrence Gowan to the little train engine that says;

I Think I Can, I Think I Can.

And to sir Gowan I reply:

No you can't
No YOU can't
No YOU CAN'T
NO YOU CAN"T !!!!!

Sorry, I just heard him butcher Rockin in Paradise for the 1st time a bit earlier.....( and it was quite painful to my ears. )

Surprisingly, I wasn't as put off by his version of "Come Sail Away" as I thought I would be though, and least until the Tempo picked up....

Dear Mr. Classicstyxfan,

I would first like to thank you for getting my message through. The 100 dollars came in handy. I now have bus fare for our next tour.

But now I would like to ask you for a favor. Could you please lighten up on Mr. Gowan? Your remarks about him are as cold as the nights I spend in my cardboard box. Do you realize it took 4 weeks and plenty of alcohol to get him? We spend night after night at the Karaoke Bar to find him. We tried to get Carrot Top to replace Dennis but he was already contracted to 1-800-CALL-ATT (which I'm using to contact you through Mr. DeeJay).

If you don't like Mr. Gowan's singing, I wouldn't suggest ear plugs like the four of us use in Styx because that would defeat the purpose of buying our CD's. I would try using the skip button. Tommy Does.

Anyway thanks Again,
The Reluctant MacBeth,
JayWhy.

P.S. The cover artwork of Cyclorama was actually dedicated to Mr. Carrot Top..That is a little known fact...
