ChicagoStyx, I think you missed some more Carrot Styx news:

Styx is all set to perform at Chicago's Wrigley Field next Tuesday (May 4th). They're lined up to do "Take Me Out To The Ball Game" during the seventh inning stretch of the game between the Arizona Diamondbacks and the host Chicago Cubs. Styx joins a list of performers who've taken part in the tradition, including Dennis DeYoung (2000), Peter Frampton and Ozzy Osbourne.

Feels rather strange to read that, doesn't it?

Actually, after 5 years, I'm pretty well adjusted.......it didn't even phase me. I'd be interested in hearing it actually, to see how they arrange it ( 3 or 4 voices ? ) and to see if Ricky's voice blends well, or stands out.......

I may just have to set the VCR if WGN has the game.

Doesn't appear that the game is going to be on Tuesday.
Busy week for Styx with the game, in store and two releases this week.
Just got an email that mine shipped on Saturday. :P

What feels rather strange to me ek as I think about Styx being at Tower Records and what they were there for is this. That three of the guys that were there promoting this had nothing to do with what was being promoted and signed, and the fact that Dennis wasn't there. I am not trying to start anything. I am so over all the bs, it just felt weird.
Of course I understand all the why's and how's and all that. I understand that whoever is IN the band at the time does the promoting for whatever. Just sort of weird/strange and sad at the same time. That's all. Of course Dennis isn't going to be there and the others are. It's all just crazy and a bit sad. I bet it was tough/hard on Dennis and a bit weird/strange for some.

Todd and Gowan are on the cd but I know what you mean. That would have been cool if Dennis had shown up. It would have made Dennis look like "Da MAN!!!" Dontcha think?
