Three Doors Down

Since we have been talking about other music lately, what do you guys think of these three groups. For me it's strange. I really cannot stand them, yet every so often they come out with songs that I want to like, don't, yet don't change the station either.
Are there any groups that you can't stand, but find yourself listening to their songs?
I don't know what it is about those three groups, but they get on me. There are many new groups and songs that I love, but those groups drive me nuts, even though I have tried to like them.

It's funny you mention those 3 groups. With Puddle of Mudd, I downloaded the entire album but before I went to buy it, I realized that I was hearing it WAY too much already anyhow. By the time MTV got it out of heavy rotation, I had lost interest.

3 Doors Down and Nickleback...You could practically ditto these two groups in the Puddle of Mudd vein. But with these two I actually got the albums. However in both cases, I never even OPENED the plastic wrap. With 3 Doors Down, I gave it to a co-worker. Nickleback sits in a drawer unopened.

I guess there's no reason to open them when they get played into the ground. I ususally get alot of CD's and movies from Columbia House and sometimes the last couple of selections are "fillers" and hence I'm in no hurry to open them.

In a totally unrelated thought, anyone interested in an unopened videotape of Apollo 13?

When I initially heard stuff from all three groups, I thought it was all right. It just seemed like I couldn't get away from them (kind of like what Scott was saying). They were either on the radio, or a buddy just got the CD, or on MTV, etc. etc. Blurry by Puddle Of Mudd and Never Again by Nickelback are about the only two popular songs by these groups that I still care to listen to. I guess sometimes a person just doesn't like certain bands or music, even when there's no apparent reason.
