Styx Song / Guitar Question

There's a local "garage" band that are playing classic rock songs. They want to add a Styx song. Any suggestions? They want a song that most ages would know and it should have a lot of guitar in it.

I don't know if I can handle hearing them practice "Blue Collar Man"- LOL

Any other Classic Styx songs? thanks :)

How about Blue Collar Man..oops.. Just Kidding...LOL.....

Renegade would be a popular classic song with the guitar work...

Man In The Wilderness, Queen Of Spades, Half Penny-Two Penny, Born For Adventure, Shooz, and Great White Hope would be some good choices.... Not as popular as Renegade, but has a good amount of guitar in them...

Madame,

I hope they've got a vocalist with chops if they decide to do Renegade.....
The garage band I was in during my formative years had it in our setlist
and I found it VERY challenging.....especially when it was in the middle of a set.

If they have a screamer on vocals, I'd say Miss America might be a good one.

Grand Illusion or Rockin the Paradise are better known guitar oriented songs.

Thanks for your suggestions everyone, I appreciate the feedback :)

"Renegade" and "Blue Collar Man" (UGH!!!) are the ones they're going to work on for now.

I'm going to pass "Rockin' The Paradise" to them too :D

I enjoy listening to these "young kids" practicing & performing songs that I grew up with.
