styx in the USA Today Sports section

Of all the places you'd expect to find a mention of Styx, the USA Today Sports section is probably one of the last. Yet they were mentioned on page 2C in a continuation of the cover story on the US Women's Soccer team.
I'll transcribe the mention for those of you who don't get USA Today.
Since the first tournament in China in 1987 when Hamm, the youngest, was just 15, they have gone 236-41-31 through the eras of Reagan, Bush, Clinton and Bush; big hair (Foundy's was once so voluminous the joke was she could catch a lofted ball in her poofhead) and bad music ("How can the younger players not know Styx? Lilly says).
So Styx is now bad music according to USA staff writer Sal Ruibal? Well it does seem to be a trend that when mentioned, Styx is usually referred to as Cheesy or something along those lines. Still it is nice that Styx gets mentioned so much. The Simpsons, South Park, Big Daddy etc...
Better than being forgotten.
