OT - Computer stress

Postby ek88 » Sun Aug 22, 2004 3:10 am

Hi everyone! Thus far, none of my fellow Nebraskans have been able to help me so . . .

The tech guy at my school recently updated the operating system on our computers (I'm at home right now and would have to go look to see what it was specifically upgraded to). Anyway, since the upgrade, my mp3s (and all other music files) have been playing at too fast a speed. Although it's been quite amusing to hear Alvin and the Chipmunks doing Come Sail Away, I'd really like to have things back to normal. I've already tried re-installing both Realplayer and Winamp and am fairly sure that I've tried all possible settings within those programs (although I wouldn't stake money on it). I don't know enough about sound drivers and system settings, etc, so I haven't done anything to that end. I would gladly welcome any and all suggestions anyone here could give me. If you need more detailed information, let me know! Thanks for listening!!!!! :D
